I was just listening to this Foo Fighters song RHAPSODY Link. Then watched the video - and now am blogging about it. All of this without "thinking" of connecting these three actions - they are just linked by the system's user experiences... In other words, I was in Rhapsody and it shot me into Blogger to talk about it (I did not start this blog by going to Bloogger.com).

I am a Real Rhapsody user. Its integration with Real SuperPass and now Blogger.com make a pretty cool user experience.

Who cares? Well me (not that you should care that I care). The internet's ability to allow seamless integration and a rich user community experience is awesome. Kudos to Real for partnering on the Blog instead of making yet another blog location.

Just got back from the TechTarget CIO Conference down in Monterey. Did the drive back from Pebble Beach to my doorstep in the Oakland hills in less than 2 hours. Not bad, nice drive.

Thornton May is always a great speaker. Always very funny, fantastic delivery and very interesting content. Saw Stuart Robbins (CIO Collective) presentation on outsourcing. Right on the money. He is working with Russian firms now. Need to mention to him that CNET has 250+ employees in Russia doing great work on our product catalogs and some technical production work.

Golfed 9 holes at Spanish Bay. Lost more than 9 balls. Croquet maybe? Outrageous views and fairways (just a little too narrow for my swing).

This is a test post on Ted Cahall's blog... It does not say anything - but it shows my brain wanted to blog - even way back in Feb of 2003.

I swear, some day this Internet thing is really going to take off....

I was CIO and SVP of Engineering at CNET Networks, Inc. when I posted this.
